Who would have ever thought the Generator was right there in the, uh, scene with the Generator. 🙂

Although you inadvertently bring up an issue I struggle with on the blog: half of me wants to write about the progress of the story without talking about the story at all.

But then another part of me wants to completely open the whole thing up. So that anyone so inclined could come here and truly feel like they're part of the progress.

(Of course, that assumes that people come here at all, which is rare.)

So . . . instead we get these in between kinda posts. I suppose it all depends on how I'd like someone to look back on all this while it was done. Can you imagine going back in time and reading Tolkien's blog while he wrote The Hobbit?

I knew I was going a bit too far when I started working on where all the main support columns would go on each floor. That's where I shook my head, took a short break, and reminded myself what I was really trying to accomplish. (Hint: not blueprints ready to hand to the construction crew.)

I do tend to work with maps, but usually very very rough ones. I don't tend to describe my surroundings in great detail and rarely see a need to have super-detailed maps. =]
